Josh Navratil Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Josh Navratil is the Founder and CEO of Cutting Edge Resources. Originally from the small town of Pine Island, Minnesota, Josh grew up with a strong appreciation for the outdoors and hands-on work. From an early age, his parents and older brother encouraged him to push himself athletically and personally—values that continue to shape how he leads today. That drive brought Josh to Grand Forks, North Dakota, where he played six years of college football at the University of North Dakota. During his time with the Fighting Hawks, Josh served as a team captain and completed over 100 hours of community service, developing leadership skills rooted in accountability, teamwork, and service to others. In 2021, Josh founded Cutting Edge Resources as a way to build a personal brand and earn extra income while balancing the demands of a rigorous collegiate football schedule. What began as a side venture quickly grew into a passion-driven business focused on maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial properties through quality workmanship and attention to detail. Josh has always taken pride in improving curb appeal and helping homeowners and businesses feel confident in their properties. Today, that same pride and discipline guide Cutting Edge Resources’ commitment to professionalism, communication, and dependable service. Outside of work, Josh enjoys fishing, hunting, water sports, and staying active through fitness and training—interests that reflect his ongoing connection to the outdoors and a driven, healthy lifestyle.
Hudson Flom
Chief Operating Officer
Hudson Flom is a Grand Forks native and a key member of the Cutting Edge Resources team. He is currently pursuing a degree in Marketing at the University of North Dakota and is set to graduate with honors in December 2026. Hudson brings a strong work ethic and leadership background, developed through his experience as a former Division I college football athlete. During his time at UND, Hudson has logged over 300 hours of community service, reflecting his commitment to serving others both on and off the job. He has hands-on experience across a wide range of handyman and property maintenance tasks and is known for his eye for detail as a skilled and professional landscape designer. In addition to his work with Cutting Edge Resources, Hudson also serves as a high school basketball coach, further showcasing his leadership, teamwork, and mentorship abilities. Outside of work, Hudson enjoys spending time at the lake, staying active in the gym, hunting, and making time for friends and family.
Logan is originally from Luxemburg, Wisconsin, and brings a strong background in both business and athletics to the Cutting Edge team. He earned a degree in Business Management with a minor in Sports Business, and competed in football at the University of North Dakota, where he developed the work ethic, discipline, and leadership skills that continue to guide his professional approach today. Now entering his third year with Cutting Edge Resources, Logan plays a key role in daily operations, helping manage crews and support both our lawn care and snow removal teams. His ability to lead from the front, stay organized, and keep crews moving efficiently helps ensure our customers receive consistent, high-quality service year-round.
Wyatt is from Fort Ransom, North Dakota, and is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management with a minor in Nutrition at the University of North Dakota. A multi-sport athlete in high school, Wyatt brings a strong work ethic, discipline, and team-oriented mindset to the Cutting Edge team. Outside of work and school, he enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors. His experience operating small engines—such as mowers and other lawn equipment—gives Cutting Edge Resources confidence in his ability to work efficiently and safely on job sites. Wyatt’s attention to detail and reliability make him a valuable part of our lawn care and seasonal operations.

Our focus is simple: increase curb appeal and keep your property in the best shape possible year-round. From routine lawn care and landscaping to seasonal cleanups and snow removal, we handle the work that keeps your exterior looking sharp, functional, and well cared for.
Our services include lawn care, landscaping, gutter cleaning, hedge trimming, edging, spring and fall cleanups, snow removal, and more. If it’s an exterior service that doesn’t require a permit, chances are we do it — and we do it with attention to detail, professionalism, and pride in our work.
